Mammograms save Lives:
We Can Help
The Services And Social Support (SASS) for Breast
Cancer program wants to make sure all women in
Licking County have access to mammograms. The
American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen for the
Cure continue to recommend annual mammograms
beginning at age 40 for women of average risk and
earlier for women with known risks for breast
cancer. One third of all women who should get
a mammogram don’t, because they lack access,
education or awareness.
If you need help getting a mammogram please contact
SASS for Breast Cancer at (740) 349-6535.
Mammography is still our best tool for early
detection of breast cancer. Please contact us
to schedule your mammogram today.
Free mammograms are made possible by a grant from
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Columbus Affiliate,
with support from the Public Health Partnership of
Licking County, and local donations.
